Found littering almost every corner one can look into, small rocks and pieces of debris have been the cheapest and most commonly available projectile known to man since the dawn of times. The numerous ruins dotting Michigan provide almost unlimited amounts of free rocks to be thrown by hand or hurled from a sling in the direction of the enemy.

Larger and heavier stones can do some significant damage, especially if fired from a sling by a trained shooter, but are harder to gather in larger quantities due to their size and weight. They can be stacked two at a time and one stack fits into sling's ammo slot. When thrown without the benefit of a sling, stones still have the potential to cause moderate bruising and occasionally bleeding wounds.

Smaller pebbles lack the punch to cause any serious damage, but are small and whole handfuls can be stored at a time, making it much easier to fire them from a sling continuously, without the need to look for a new load every shot or two. They stack up to ten at a time, and two such stacks can be put into sling's ammo slot. When thrown without the benefit of a sling, pebbles only retain the ability to cause minor bruising and rarely manage to break the skin.

Stones can also add heft to an otherwise unarmed melee attack, causing moderate bruising and occasionally bleeding wounds. Their damage potential in melee is slightly higher than if thrown, but far short of their potential when fired from a sling. As with all melee weapons, this attack is much deadlier in the hands of a combatant who is Strong and/or skilled with melee weapons.
