The HVAC vent is an item found in Exam Room 17 of the Gyges Cryo Facility, along with the electrical panel. When inside the actual building, choosing to "Examine the HVAC system" will spawn the recipe for 'HVAC (heated)'. Players with the Mechanic skill can repair the HVAC vent (unheated), effectively creating the "HVAC vent (heated)". This can be done outside the building, via the camp screen, on the main map hex.
Repairing the HVAC Vent provides the following benefit:
- Player is warmed by a heater.
The temperature at the Cryo Facility hex will always be neutral, regardless of weather or time of day, once the HVAC vent has been repaired.
