Abilities and flaws can only be selected at the beginning of the game.

The hex map

All characters (both PC and NPC) take turns moving around the isometric map, divided into hexes. Each turn is equivalent to 1 in-game hour. At the beginning of each turn, the "move points" of characters are replenished.

Day-night cycleEdit

Time of day is divided into six (6) parts:

  • Dawn: 4 am - 8 am
  • Morning: 8 am - 12 pm
  • Day: 12 pm - 4 pm
  • Evening: 4 pm - 6 pm
  • Dusk: 6 pm - 9 pm
  • Night: 9 pm - 4 am

The time of day affects visibility, as well as move points for characters.

When the player character and one or more NPC occupy the same hex, the combat screen is shown. Players can either fight, retreat, offer cease fire or surrender, as well as perform many other actions.
