Camps are places where the player has placed any object(s) in the campsite tab, and are marked with a tent symbol. They can be used as a place to store objects, sleep, recover, or take refuge from enemies.
Camp Stat Bars[]
Every campsite has different stat bars (ranging form 0 to 27 "units") showing how well the player sleeps there, how concealed the camp is from other creatures, how protected the player is from the elements, and so on. Some bars can only be seen by players with certain skills. Each campsite also has a set size that determines how much can be stored there. Some campsites are small enough that some items, such as a tarp shelter, must be rotated before they can be placed in camp.
Sleep[]
The sleep stat refers to how much beneficial sleep is at that camp, and how likely it is the player will wake up. Things such as sleeping bags increase this bar. It can be seen by all players.
Shelter[]
This stat refers to how protected the player is from the elements when at the camp. It increases when adding a tarp shelter or other insulating objects, and generally tends to be higher when the camp is a building. It can be seen by all players.
Healing []
The healing stat refers to how fast the player can heal at this campsite. It increases with comfortable objects such as sleeping bags and campfires. It can only be seen by players with the Medic skill.
Concealment[]
Concealment refers to how concealed the camp is from other creatures, especially humans like looters who show more interest in objects. Some areas have more concealment than others, but comfortable additions such as campfires and shelters will decrease it. It can only be seen by players with the Hiding skill.
Alertness[]
This stat refers to how likely the player will be woken up if another creature enters the same hex. It increases when adding noise traps. It can only be seen by players with the Trapping skill.
Available Campsites[]
Different campsites have different basic stat levels:
1-6 bars (red) - Very Poor
7-14 bars (orange) - Poor
15-19 bars (yellow) - Okay
20-27 bars (green) - Good
Those can be further changed by placing certain objects in camp's inventory grid at camp tab. Most of these objects, including sleeping bags and tarp shelters but excluding noise traps, do not stack with similar items. Campsites do not have alertness stat unless at least one noise trap is set.
